I have more or less decided to come to the Phoenix Steel show next year.
I`d like to know more and was looking forward to seeing comments in the show attendance thread that got closed.
So, anything you want to tell me, please do! Accomodation tips for instance.
Reassure me !

Thanks,

Olli

Olli....
It would be great to have you come to the Southwestern Steel Guitar Association (SWSGA) Annual get together; the dates are January 15, 16, and 17, 2015 at the Sheraton Crescent Hotel in Phoenix, AZ. Check out the website at: www.swsteelguitar.com

We take pride in the fact that our show is a bit more "eclectic" than most, as we feature not only mainstream pedal steel, but classical, jazz and other genres.

I am sure you will enjoy it!!

Thanks for asking!!

This is a great show, I may go again myself next January, I haven't been in a few years. It's my favorite of all the shows I've been to.

Hi Olli, I am planning on being there. It would be great to see you again. In fact I have agreed to help Chuck Lettes in any way I can with the logistics on the non-pedal sessions. My brother Rick, who I think you met in Dallas, may be coming as well. I would love to get you to play with us so let's talk about that.

I've been to this show twice and really enjoy it.

Bob

I think you will love it. I'm planning to come this year. My recommendation is to stay in the hotel where the show is so you don't have to drive anywhere. The hotel is very nice.

Great to hear you are coming Olli - As Billy said we have lots of traditional steel music but a variety of other music too -- we say Bach to Rock with lots of Country in between - and last year Cajun and more - the past 3 years a different featured act every night - 3 full days of music and fun and you will be part of the family upon arrival.

I also agree to stay in the hotel where the show is held - jam sessions go on all evening - but the show is 9 AM to Midnight ---- non-pedal session in a different building across the parking lot road on Saturday is growing every year and lots of equipment and steel makers.
