Hello everyone! Just wanted to say hello as a newbie to PSG. Always loved the sound of this instrument and finally able to purchase and start learning! Doug @ StageOne did an awesome job on this guitar and can't be more pleased with his hospitality, craftsmanship and tone of this guitar. Also using his Volume Ped (very nice).
I hand built / wired the tube amp from a 5E3 circuit with a few mods for tonal purposes. Vintage USA tubes and a handmade 12" Weber 20w speaker (light dope) alnico magnet.
Also have a MXR Carbon Copy and 63 Reverb for fx.
Looking forward to learning the instrument and having fun! Any tips or advice is greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the crazy world of Pedal Steel Guitar.
There is a lot of material available to get you started. Some forum members, such as Don Sulesky, have some basic material and tabs. The Jeff Newman material is still applicable and he has some videos to get you going, along with other tab material.
I like the "Dutchman" name since I'm a "Pennsylvania Dutchman" from Mechanicsburg.

Thanks Jack. I did pick up a few DVDs from Jeff Newman to start working through. Small world! I'm just East near Lebanon, PA. PA Dutch through and through!
