I need help with this .... When tuning my guitar I have a pedal that is cause one of my strings to go out of tune... When I tune the pedal it's causing the string to go out of tune. Then I have to go back and retune the string which is knocking the pedal back out. I can't get neither in tune and it's a problem. Can some of u techs please tell me how to fix this problem....
Thanks

sounds like you may need a little slack in the pulling train . Make sure the pulling rod has a little slack when it returns after pedal is released. Just a smidgon. you may need to adjust the amount of pull in your pedal rods to get this. What kinda geetar u playing?

Try loosening the lower/raise tuners on the endplate as far as you can without them falling off. So they don't do anything. Then tune the open string from the key head. After that slowly tune the raises and lowers from the endplate.

You are probably just "over tuned". Happens all the time before you get the hang of how to tune.

You can test to see if you have over tuned by turning the endplate tuner and if it changes the pitch of the open string at all you have simply bound up the changer. Just do what I said at first and it will clear it right up.
