What should be the string gauges on the 23 inch scale Fender Cable operated guitars 800 & 2000 models? Both E-9 & C-6 tunings.

Roger, any of the standard 10-string sets of pedal guitar strings will work on these guitars, due to the shortness of their scale. The only significant choice you have is choosing whether the set has a plain or wound 6th string. Smile
