I bought my D-10 Excel in 1992 from Scotty in St.Louis.I played that guitar for years, from 92 till 1999 and never had a single problem.I just changed pick ups to George L, for reason only known to me.Original ones were as good as any.Kinda off brand I guess (not a Emmons,Mullen etc...)but very nice instrument.I wouldn`t mind having another one but price is little high if you ask me.But it is a nice guitar, and if you are looking to get one,Scotty`s music in St. Louis is a major dealer for Excel in USA,give Scotty a call.
My two cents.
