Building a lap steel, where can I get some bridges, nuts, etc?

Hello,
I have been looking on line for some bits and pieces for my upcoming lap steel build and I'm having trouble finding bridges that make the action high, metal and or brass pre cut nuts, those cool old fashioned plexiglass fretboards etc... If anyone knows where I may run across these items I'd really like to know! I don't have many tools so I think I am forced to use a pre made body blank.
Also some pre cut bodies with everything routed out and ready to put a pick up in and so forth. Thanks in advance :)

Ryan Rukavina makes some great nuts and bridges, and sometimes posts them for sale on ebay. Check him out at http://rukavinaguitars.com/

I am a regular customer of Online Metals, here:

http://www.onlinemetals.com/index.cfm

The neat thing is, they will cut all of the stuff they sell to whatever length you want, really cheap, even free. So if you can figure out exactly what sizes you need of chunks of stuff, their cuts can leave you with very little work left over. They carry quite a few plastics, too.

Just make your own. Then they'll be exactly as you want them. Nuts and bridges are the easiest part.
