Weissenborn for sale

Post by Paddy Burgin »

Here at Burgin Guitars New Zealand we have a brand new Tasmanian Blackwood weissenborn for sale. From the workshop that made David Lindley's two stage weissenborns comes this flamed and figured beauty that can be seen at http://www.burginguitars.co.nz/now-in-stock-2/ This guitar comes in a hard case and is ready to go!

A good pick up to bring out the acoustic sound is the K and K. Three dime sized sensors are glued under the saddle inside the guitar on the bridge plate, with an output jack in the usual place (right through the handcrafted herringbone tailstrip arghhhh)

David Lindley has two of our Style One weisses for stage work. They are fitted with Seymour Duncan mag mics. He got 'em a few years back. Details of the guitars are on this website

I think Paddy means Style two, not stage two, right Paddy? That refers to the level of decorative finish on the guitar, which is a stunner, Paddy. Beautiful, beautiful work.

I read this only to mean that DL has two (2) of Paddy's guitars that he uses on stage for "work", later described as Style 1's.

The Blackwood Style 3 offered looks Beauty !

If Wishes were Horses..... :) I wanna try 'em all ! :D

Paddy's guitars are absolutely first rate - if I didn't already have a vintage Weissenborn and a Bear Creek, I'd jump on this one!
