Band In A Box is a music software program marketed by www.PGmusic.com out of Canada.

For making backing tracks, the old versions work just as well as the latest versions. 2008 or 2009 can probably be bought on the cheap.

Making a biab backing track takes about 5 minutes. That can be converted into a midi file and from there a wav or an mp3.

Band in a box is priceless. Use it everyday.

Hey, Scott, thanks for the tip on ChordPulse. I just downloaded it for the 14 day trial, and I like it. It's very simple, but very fun to play with. I've already done an arrangement of Secret Love. My wife heard it playing and when I explained what it was, she said "you should buy that program...it sounds real nice".

So, I'll play around with it more in the next couple days to see how much I can get out of it. It sure beats playing solo and trying to "hear" the arrangement in my head. :?

BTW...I've got Band-in-a-Box, but this is much more fun!
