Some good stuff there! I am familiar with about five out of the nine, saw Shovels & Rope at Hardly Strictly Bluegrass in San Francisco, they put on an entertaining set.
Another guy I like a lot is Max Gomez who I've seen live a couple times. Outstanding singer/songwriter and a real nice fellow. His song "Run From You" is one of my favorite new songs in recent years. Pay no attention to the fact that in the video during the short pedal steel break it shows the guy playing a lap steel.
It's a great tune. I can remember as a young guy being in a somewhat similar scenario with a beautiful girl.
