No, not Lower Alabama, not Burbank...
I spent last week in Sulphur, Louisiana near Lake Charles and was amazed at how much steel there was in the Cajun music being played on the radio. One station, broadcasting in French, played mostly Cajun tunes that had the PSG prominently featured on many cuts from a lot of different bands. This was definately not 'pop' steel, but a real nice 'country-style' with traditional fiddle/accodian combos. Very cool! ...plus, they know how to brew a decent cup of coffee down there!
