I have the 705 on both of my Mullen's. Love the sound. _________________ aka "Lucky Kay"--Custom built Rittenberry SD10 3X5, Walker S/S, NV-112, and Hilton Pedal |

I'd choose either a 705 (they sound great in both modes, and in a non-hummy room, you can switch back to single coil) or a ToneAligner. _________________ 2 pedal steels, a lapStrat, and an 8-string Dobro (and 3 ukes)

I own a G2 and tried a number of pickups. It all comes down to what vibe you prefer. I settled on a George L (EON) pickup that gives me a happy medium for E9 and B6.
Here is a short demo on the B9 organ machine and I demo the G2 with a pedal steel sound before I kick in the organ machine. The pickup is a hum bucker and is dead quiet. I am also using a Hilton VP.
