I have just got this Emmons, I'd like to know the age of it , it is in lovely condition, it is a p/p serial #2583DST, Thanks to anyone who can help. I am now off to Wales, (My home land) to see some sheep. That is a joke over here.

Dave, I don't understand the ST on the end of the #. Are you sure it appears to actually be part of the serial number?

Could the " st " on the end of the number mean Stereo ?

Yes it is stamped on the End plate (Changer end)The number, then a space, then DST.

I really doubt that the st is part of the original serial number however I am sure the D was original. It is probably a late 70's model.
