Question for Donnie Hinson

Post by Willis Vanderberg »

Donny ....
have you been around Baltimore a long time ? I have a close friend and fellow steel picker from that area. His name is Earl Williams. He left there in the early seventies and went with Jimmy Dickens for a couple of years. He also worked with Tanya Tucker and some others. He is alive and well and picking on the new Mullen that was built for Jimmy Day.He is a great guy and I know he would like to hear from some old friends.

Yeah, I guess you could say I'e been around Baltimore a long time. Image Sure, I'm familiar with Earl, and played in all the same clubs as he did, etc.. Once or twice, we even got to see each other, playing jamborees and such. But, "working steady" (as I did) had a downside...it meant you never had a night off to go see someone else!

Tell Earl I said "Hi", and that I'm glad he's still pickin'. Image
