Any sacred steel teachers in the South Carolina area? I have a student I'd like to refer.

I`m not really sure, but Del Grace of Toledo,Ohio might be able to guide you in your search for teachers in that area. He basically is in contact with most of the Sacred Steel Players through out the U.S. His website has his phone number listed. It could`nt hurt to try it there. His website is

Hi Charlie --- I have a friend in North Charleston that is a sacred steel player. He is a member here (Makevia Johnson) - may be wife's name. Look under Dec 15, 2013 posting in Amps and accessories for Walker Stereo Steel. Lance Johnson's number is listed there. If you can't locate it - call me. He will know of any local teachers in that genre.
