I found this song tucked away in a folder on my hard drive when I was looking for something else.
It's called "Listen" and it was written by my friend Kyle Frost. Have a "listen" and I hope you enjoy it.

JIM - Wow, nice song, your steel performance
throughout this song was professional in my book.
Keep them coming, I enjoyed both the singer & the steel.

Mighty fine song and just the right kind of great playing. Sounds much like an Eagles song.

By the way, Tuck and Walt Dragoo have both gone on.

A few folks have e-mailed me asking what guitar and amp I was using on this song.
I used my 79 Rosewood S-10 PP Emmons and a NV-112.
Recorded on two tracks using the direct out and close miked, then blended in the mix.
When I ask Kyle what he had in mind for the steel part, he said "do what you do", so I did.

I listened to "Listen" off their album 'Another Day' on My Space. Looks like they or their producer elected not to use the steel guitar on the final track.
That's a real shame because I think the steel is very pretty. The Kyle Frost Band. They are good.

Nice Jim. Do you have any Nash 112 knob protectors? Let me no.
