Anybody still use DAT tapes? Reason I ask: I have hundreds of used ones (not used by me) of various lengths and I can't decide whether to post them for sale or just e-waste 'em. (I don't know if or how they can be degaussed.)

Ah..., the Devil's Audio Tape...can still hear the sound of one being chewed up in the transport...though they were pretty revolutionary at the time...

Ben, I work downtown with a guy who buys and sells used audio/video/broadcast equipment (and some of it is really OLD). I know he has DAT tapes in his tape library, as well as several machines. I can ask him when I see him next Tuesday, if you want to hang on to them until then... only a couple more days . Smile
