Not finding any info on here concerning the Wisconsin Dairy Steel Show. Will it still happen? The event section on here is free of charge so it would be beneficial to all involved to use it as a marketing tool. hope it still happens. Or maybe I have overlooked it. thanks....

No, that won't be necessary but I am bringing the ZB along that I bought from you. I am rebuilding it and even though it isn't quite done yet, I'm sure you will see the improvement. :D

thanks dennis, I kinda thought craig Davidson would chime in here but I ask him bout this venue last year and he said hardly no one looks at steel guitar forum, therefore he chooses not to use this wonderful marketing tool.

If Craig doesn't want to promote the show, I sure will.
I really enjoy the show and greatly appreciate the accomodations. It is held at a really nice hotel so everyting is right there, no need to venture all over town unless you choose to.
When I travel down there from Minnesota, I like to take the route through the cranberry bogs, that's really interesting. :D

Craig's pretty busy right now and all of the info on the show is available at: http://www.dairysteelshow.com/

Forums such as this appeal to a limited audience so I would say the website is the next logical choice.

Chad - wouldn't have seen the web site if it wasn't for the forum - I think this gets a lot of traffic
Plus it's free!!

Absolutely the show is still on!!! :)

I was going to post a couple days ago, so thank you guys for your interest.

We get alot of hits on the http://dairysteelshow.com site, but this forum is very important as well for communicating the show. After all, it is a steel show ha

We've been gathering ticket sales for the Friday night's 'Hank Williams Tribute Show', which brings folks - many who will continue to stay throughout the weekend for the 2 days of great steel playing! There will be a couple of new players this year, so let's welcome Al Andersen and Brian Bannister and see if they measure up.....Just kidding

I'm always impressed with Erv's display of tablature and steel products. It adds alot to the show.

Barry and Dennis, will be good to see you again. Don't bring any snow...we have enough here

Hello Chad and Ron, would be great to hear you guys play again.

Hi Mark - Haven't had a steel for a while as I shut my band down about 6 years ago -But, Like most, I bought another one but have to learn to play again - Besides, they'd probably put me on the show right after you while everybody is still catching their breath!! :D

The Dairy State Steel Guitar starts tomorrow the 14th and runs thru Sunday the 16. I would have posted sooner on this wonderful marketing tool but have been busy watching my father-in-law pass away the last couple weeks. So you see I haven't been sitting with my finger in my you know where. I let some things go that didn't have quite as much impact.

Does this show have any seminars and a vendor area?
I went to the website & didn't see any mention, just a list of performers for each day.
