Depending on how many type setting errors are in your copy, I am guessing the answer is no. I am usually fairly observant of these things when reading. I don't recall any, though I would be willing to pass over one or two.

I've read my book cover to cover and can't recall a single 'error'.

Your copy might be worth far more since it might very well have been a printers' proof???

Print shops/publishers of olde, used to never permit a copy writer to proof read their own text. The errors are never seen again once they're written down. A printing machine operator routinely discovers the spelling errors after the first 5,000+ copies have run thro' his machine.

Did YOU realize that the 1996 Webster's Dictionary contains 315 spelling errors?

My copy has become standard reading during my long trips back to England. The book must have crossed the Atlantic a dozen times over by now. Any more and they'll be giving it Frequent Flier Mileage. Laughing

I don't recall any typos in it. As far as whether the facts are accurate, I wasn't there at the time, but Jerry would have no reason to misrepresent anything. Rolling Eyes

Well for Noah Webster that would be par for the course. His knowledge of etymology was not the greatest, and some of his recommendations for spelling revision were totally absurd. I bet you won't find many spelling errors in the Oxford English Dictionary. Winking
