I first heard Larry's playing on a gospel album. The tone was fantastic! Then, I saw him on Nashville Now. The tone was fantastic!
I catch myself trying to match that tone when I play.

Reggie:

Larry is also a genuinely nice fellow. I used to love to do Nashville Now with Gene Watson so I could hang out with Larry, he's just such a good guy.

He and I and the Booth Brothers went golfing one time in Nashville, we had a blast and we got our money's worth but the local bird population suffered.
