Jackson Blackjack question

How difficult is it to change around the pulls on a Blackjack. Most that I've seen have the E's on the left knee. I like my E lowers on RKL. Would it be hard to switch LKR to RKL?

I'd give Jackson Steel Guitars a call - (check the website).....get the answer right from the source...the folks are the very best to work with, and are always glad to help out.

David, Harry, and Dawn Jackson are great people and can help you with anything related to your Jackson Blackjack. I play a Blackjack Custom and it's the best steel guitar I've owned and played!

OK, I guess that if you buy a Blackjack you don't have any need to change it. I couldn't get a good answer from the Jackson folks so I guess I'll just give up!

Did you try calling them? They've been pretty responsive when I've called.

Curious, I have had nothing but great results and quick responses when contacting Jackson via email.

Cheers,

i''d just give up, cartwright, if you have to ask that question after being a member here since 1998.

I really don't know what you mean Chris, if it is an attempt at humor, it is lost on me. What has my being a member since whenever got to do with anything?
I didn't think it was such an outrageous question and I'm surprised that no one is willing or able to answer it. I have talked to Harry in the past and he wasn't exactly forthcoming when it came to questions about changing things around on a Jackson, he pretty much said that he'd (grudgingly) be willing to make some changes. Oh well, the guitar I was interested in is sold anyway.

if the jacksons, being the super customer service guys that they are, couldn't communicate with you on the matter, probably no one else will be able to do any better.

Hey Chris,

I communicate with Carty all the time (as do many other steelers) and he knows his way around a steel. I have no experience with the Jacksons, so I am not going to cast aspersions on them. I do know Carty, though. Do you? If not, maybe you should keep your uninformed suppositions about him to yourself. But, then, that would be vastly out of character with the way you conduct yourself on this forum, so I won't hold my breath.
