Tommy Delamore setup?

Post by Carl Kaye »

Do any of you have an idea what steel and copedant Tommy Delamore used on Doug Sahm's last album (The Return of Wayne Douglas)?

That was Tommy's Red Zum that he sold and is playing Sho~Bud now.
He plays a standard Copedant.

Excellent playing by Tommy on that album.

Ricky is correct about the red Zum. Tommy's E9 changes on that guitar are standard A,B,C Emmon's and six knee levers. He raises the E's on left knee left and lowers them on right knee left. Left knee right lowers 2 and 9. Right knee right raise 1 and 7 a half.
He has a second left knee left lowering the 6th to F# and a left knee vertical lowering 5 to Bb.

As of about 3 weeks ago Tom is playing a great looking and sweet sounding brand new Zum....think he's sold the Sho-Buds.
