Ronnie - I would go straight to the source:

http://www.buddyemmons.com/Pockets.htm

http://www.buddyemmons.com/MinorPockets.htm

Emmons uses these patterns throughout this career. Two good records to learn from are these:

http://www.amazon.com/Buddy-Emmons-Live ... B000ALCQQA

http://www.amazon.com/buddy-emmons-rand ... B000MBF908

I use a slow down CD player to learn the patterns from Emmons' recordings. After awhile you will start to hear these patterns in his music and hear the infinite variations Emmons comes up with.

(Many thanks to Ernie Renn for posting these online. They originally appeared in Guitar Player Magazine)

Robert.... those posts you put in the Tab section a few years ago are also full of great ideas! Maybe you can link to those again for all of us? :)
