Rick Price: Emmons push/pull surgeon

I just wanted to give some recognition my buddy Rick Price for dialing my guitars in so spectacularly. I realize that there are several highly skilled and qualified gentlemen out there who do excellent repair and service on Emmons guitars (Bobby Bowman, Mike Cass, etc), but my only personal experience is with Rick. I've had a few push/pulls over the years and they've all ended up in his laboratory. When he's done with 'em, they always play beautifully as if brand new AND are super reliable. His love of old PP's is quite evident and he knows them inside and out. Thanks for letting me bend your ears and thank you Rick! :D

Rick is great!

I think Rick Price is the best. I just picked up my "new" 1969 Push-Pull fat-back, cut-tail from the "laboratory". It required extensive revisions of the pedal/knee lever set-up. I think that Rick really enjoys tackling the tough jobs with these great guitars. I've gigged it twice now and it is awesome...very solid and dependable.

Rick first worked on my 1967 Bolt-on in 1982. We have been friends ever since. Rick loves Push-Pulls and cares about these guitars.

Here it is.

By coincidence, I also posted more info today, about the '69 PP here:

I can also attest to Rick's expertise with push pull guitars. He has done work on my guitar several times over the years. Rick possesses a very high sense of quality and when working on someone's guitar he is not satisfied until he has it to the point where he would have no qualms with taking it out on a gig himself.

I'm glad I happened on to you. I've been looking for Rick for at least a year. Can you tell me how to get in touch with him? I have a beautiful buy hardly used MSA that needs to be set up. Thanks a lot. Bobby Morgan.
