I have a lot of licks that I have been meaning (fixin to in Texas) to learn. There is a stack of cassettes to be converted to CDs, CDs, Hot Licks books, tab from the Forum, and other teaching materials just waiting for me to get a ROUNTOIT. I don't recall when I last used it. If you get on a stage between Big Springs, Dallas and Texarkna and see my ROUNTOIT, please let me know. It seems kind on useless to learn those licks at the age of 77 and considering the market for steel players around here but that is beside the point.

I don’t want to seem negative here but I've noticed as you get older you start getting this dead fish in your shirt. You tell a good joke or a bad joke and they look at you either way like you stink.
You play badly, they treat you like they stinking expected it. You play something good and they treat you like you just got stinking lucky.
So don't spend your life beating yourself up about it.
Just put on some Old Spice and go gig Laughing
