Dear old friend and consummate drummer Charlie Hill passed away today, February 5th 2014, after a long battle with liver cancer. He leaves a daughter and grandson, and many friends. He could be aggravating, and yet he was the funniest individual I think I've ever met... and the punchiest and most 'natural' drummer I've ever found.
