Steven was a dear, dear friend of mine for 42 years, from the earliest "cosmic cowboy" days. We were part of a beautiful fellowship scene. I was returning from Phoenix yesterday when Danny Hawk called me with the news. I'm shocked and saddened.
There was never a funnier man, nor as sweet a singer, or talented songwriter and entertainer than Steve Fromholz.
Sadly, it appears that he was cavalier with basic gun safety, in that he was transporting a loaded rifle with a round in the chamber that fell out of the gun bag and discharged, striking him fatally.
Guys, PLEASE treat your firearms with the UTMOST respect (power tools also), so that tragedies like this one are few and far between. _________________ My rig: Infinity and Telonics.
Son, we live in a world with walls, and those walls have to be guarded by men with steel guitars. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Lt. Weinberg? |
