Can someone tell me where I can find good step-by-step instructions on replacing the pot & string in a Goodrich pedal? Can't seem to find any. I can handle the pot replacement but the string looks tricky. Thanks.

Not 'step-by-step' but this might help . . .

Cord route begins at the inside of the volume pedals top.
It goes once around the screw on the brass spindle
and crosses the larger diameter of the brass spindle.
It continues one and a half times around the brass spindle.
It then goes over the tang and then is secured by
the tang screw.
Use only enough tension to slightly deflect the tang, as additional
tension will only cause more side-thrust on the pots bushing.

Check Greg Cutshaw's page. He has a simple to follow, step by step guide to re-stringing the pot.
