Has anyone tried the Telonics neo 15 in a Ken Fox Vintage 5F8A amp?
If so, how does it compare to the original Sica ?

Although I haven't specifically tried them in one of Ken's fantastic amps...I am now using the Telonics 15 in my set up.
I also tried one of the SICA 15's years ago when they were popular here on the forum.
I can't emphasize this enough....the Telonics blows the SICA away, hands down. The SICA was way too dark (for me anyway).
The Telonics is the best speaker I've played through in 35 years.

I agree. SICA is good, but Telonics is great

I only use Telonics speaker in my amps, which are not too different than kens amps. Both have a similar 4 x 6L6 power supply

I'll try it. Order already sent Sophie and the box arrived already.

By the way, the Telonics company overall, is a joy to deal with. Really professional folks.

Ok, got it in. Very nice. 1st impression: a tad louder and a tad brighter. Overall very similar to the SICA.

Played a loud bar gig for 4 hours. The Telonics seems to cut thru a bit better. Man o man, I love this amp. Ken Fox hit a home run with this one.
