When Sunny Gets Blue

Post by Howard Nash »

Here's a chord melody arrangement for "When Sunny Gets Blue:"

Inspired by Sez Adamson (though a far cry from his harmonic brilliance, for sure!).

Thanks for listening.

That's great! Sez is great too, yep…
This is really nice. you've got your own touch and tone goin' on…
I'm really into this genre; solo Pedal Steel Jazz Chord melody arrangements of jazz standards. You, Sez, Doug Jernigan, Tommy White, Jim Cohen, Buddy Emmons, who elso plays in this setting? It's great! I hope to make music like this, too.
Thanks for doing this!

Hi Howard.
That was absolutely great. I love the chromatic bass lines and the chord subs. I hope to hear lots more of this.
Congratulations on a great arrangement and a lovely job.
