Up for sale is a deluxe 34 lapsteel stand I ordered as a back up but have rarely used, I had listed sometime back & was sold , but the buyer changed his mind, the brackets are a bit wide due to the body of the lapsteel I was useing it for, but you can order what ever size needed, I will do 150.00 Shipped, (US Only)heres the link ( due to not being able to load pictures) Donation will follow sale, Thanks

I modified your listing to point to the actual ad rather than the message you received from craigslist after posting. That way people can see your ad.

Which lap steel were you using with this stand? These are great lap steel stands.

That's a very good deal for somebody.

Those stands are solidly built and I paid over $300 for mine, which I use with my Sierra 8-string.

No for that kind of money my lap is a lot cheaper.I was going to build my own and I went to Lows and Home Depot and they have ugly legs and I will not pay them 9 to 15 dollar a piece for them so I will stick to my lap it does not cost me any thing and it is there free.

Mr. White,

If you are not going to buy the lap steel stand, please keep your opinions to yourself.

Your comments add nothing to Mr. Watkins' advertisement.

Totally agree with the above statement. Mr. Watkins and I have been in communication about this item and he has been honest, forthright, and above all, a complete gentleman throughout our discussions.

There is a major difference between a Bentley and a Yugo, just as there is a difference between a Deluxe 34 lap steel stand (which retails for over $300.00) and Mr. White's lap.

Hi Chris - put me first in line, please. Give me a chance to get home this afternoon and measure my steel. In the meantime, will you give me the fit width of the two brackets so I can check? Thank you.

The nice thing about this stand (other than it's fine build quality and sturdiness), is that it is totally non-invasive and you don't have to modify your lapsteel. Your steel sits nicely in a corkboard-lined cradle that you don't have to worry about somebody knocking it over.

There's no way I was going to drill holes in my Sierra 8-string. :whoa:

It's like anything, you get what you pay for.
