Here's a photo of Jerry Byrd (far left) playing with Rex Maxedon in 1944. Curiously though he's holding an Archtop Guitar instead of a lap steel that he is credited with playing in the band.

here's a tune from the post, however I can't make out any steel. Does anyone know if these recordings with Jerry exist somewhere from this show? Or did they not archive these then?
