it's a given that most, if not all, wives and kids will be at the mall from early until late on this date and that dear old dad had rather be anywhere there's, food, fun, fellowship and steel guitars.
ol' jack hammer is swingin' the doors at the tom-bigbee jamboree and havin' a get together on stage for all interested steel players from 10:ooam until' the raindeer come home, there's plenty of room and back-up players, so come on down and let's steel away
while mama and the kids is visitin' santa.
all levels of players are welcome.....
on the distoric banks of the ten-tom waterway in fulton, Mississippi at us hwy 78, the tom-bigbee jamboree.

Country Jack, please don't shut the gate before I get there!! You know it's a long way from Georgia to Itawamba County, but I'm gonna get up early and be on my way-- can't wait to see you and all of those other great pickers and singers.

Thank you, Jack Hammer, for letting us have such a LARGE time at the jam yesterday and thanks also are in order for all the musicians who played--I, for one, had a wonderful day with so many old friends and was happy to make many new ones. Andy, we sure missed you and I'm still wondering what happened to Country Jack--looked for him all day, but he never showed. Just wondering if maybe somebody kidnapped him???? Let me know if you hear anything from him!!

Wendell;
don't pay the ransome, ...I've escaped!
man, I hated to miss this pickin', but I had too many things get on my plate all at once and then a funeral came in on it,to top it all.
I intended to call up there and check-in, but I didn't get that worked out either.
the good news is it sounded like a good time was had by all and that's what mattered most a good friendly pickin' and a grinnin' and lots'a fellowship.
great that jack hammer has such a facility to offer the steel guitar community and lot's of friends to share it with. merry Christmas to all and i'll see ya' at the next one, for sure.....
