Sweet Beulah Land is one of my favorite gospel songs. My initial title was Beulah Land, rather than Sweet Beulah Land. Hope you will enjoy it also. Thanks for watching.

Nicely done. It has a nice melody line.

I was not familiar with the tune of Beulah Land which you played here, but I recall another song titled, Beulah Land, which has a different melody.

C.E.,
The song you are playing is "SWEET Beulah Land" written by Squire Parsons Jr.
Just plain "Beulah Land" was written by Edgar Page Stites & John R. Sweney.

Don Griffiths, thanks for the kind comment.

Don Woods, thanks for the kind words. The name should be Sweet Beulah Land, rather than Beulah Land. Beulah Land is probably the song you remember.

Erv, thanks for pointing out the error in the name and composer of the song. The correct name again, should be Sweet Beulah Land, rather than Beulah Land. I have made corrections on the YouTube video.

Greetings from a fellow Mississippian!

Sounds great, Mr. Jackson. I love the sound of the lap steel with the acoustic guitar backup.

I recorded a video of the same song last year, playing my Sierra lap steel along with a "Band-in-a-Box" backing track I made.

You can check it out here:

Steve, thanks for the kind words. I like your recording of Sweet Beulah Land.

By the way, I played all music on my recording on a 6 string lap steel, melody and backup, using 2 recording tracks.

Tuning: A C# E A C# E
