I would like to introduce you to the Super Picker's album Vol I. I have just completed a 4 CD set with 9 of the greatest steel guitar players in the world. It's been a fun project and certainly a labor of love to complete this set. You will hear some of the favorite songs that each artist has selected from there previous recordings digitally re-mastered. You will also hear extensive interviews with each artist interviewing each other and the interviews are priceless. Each interview covers a full range of topics, from thier personal lives to personal experiences and of course the steel guitar.

This project contains songs from the late Hal Rugg, Johnny and Joan Cox, David Wright
Junior Knight, Dewitt " Scotty" Scott, Reece and Teresa Anderson, Jay Dee Manness and Tom Brumley. What a lineup.

You can enjoy your favorite instrument, your favorite kind of music played by some of the greatest artist of our time with vocals sprinkled in by Teresa Anderson. And yes there is steel guitar on Teresa's recordings, and you can guess who that might be playing. On her interview she might even say something that would give you an inside perspective of Reece, which only a wife would know. You will also hear the artist tell stories about their earliest beginnings and there real live experiences. You will enjoy the honest, and at times humorus interaction during every relaxed interview.

This 4 CD set {2 music and 2 interviews }will provide many happy hours of not only great music, but entertaining interviews which you will cherish forever, parts of which will answer questions you may have wanted to ask these artist but never had the chance.

I consider it a priviledge and honor to have had this opportunity to work with these great artist while producing what I truly believe to be a unique, and exciting direction which not only offers great music, but provides everyone the chance to get up close and personal with each artist. The Super Picker's Vol I album is available through CD BABY.COM and they or in stock and ready for delivery.

Oh no! I checked it out, and it's another "must have!"

I'm gonna have to save for this one for a bit-or maybe Santa can bring it for my stocking?

This is great, Jerry!

Ditto!!! Super Pickers Vol 1 is an absolute must have.

I had a rare privilege to preview this CD set prior to release and let me tell you - what an honor. You simply cannot beat the music and the players are all top notch. This is a great way to feature music while giving the listeners an insight into the player. I loved it!

Now, when is Vol 2 coming out???

Miss Lana

Bobby, thanks for taking the time to reply about the Super Pickers Vol 1 cd set. Not only have you played with all of these great players and know them probably better than anyone, I'll bet you found out a lot about these guys that you didn't know after listening to the 2 cd's full of interviews.
That's what makes this 4 cd set unique. It has 2 cd's full of fantastic music and 2 cd's full of interviews. What better way to
listen to the music and players you like, then find out so much about them all in one cd set. Thanks my friend for the kind words.

Mark, thanks for your reply. I hope you find
a VOL 1 in your Xmas stocking.

Mike, thanks for ordering Vol 1. I know you will enjoy it. Send me an e-mail and let me know what you think.

Miss Lana, thank you for your reply. You and I talked about this several months ago
and you encouraged me to hurry and put this set out. When you interviewed me at Scotty's show on steel radio that was the coming out party and I thank you for that.
I have somemore things in the works that you know about, but let's not tell anyone
yet. I hope the forum gets to hear some selections on steel radio more often so they can see what they or missing. Thanks again for all of your help.

Herby my friend. Thanks so much for your kind remarks. We have known each other for a long time and coming from you with such a great endorsement I am honored.
