It's time for my Webb to have a good once-over. I know there are plenty of folks able to do an adequate job but can anyone recommend someone with enough knowledge of them to upgrade what can be upgraded and really check it out better than someone who simply has a schematic and no other Webb experience? By the time I can afford it, I'd really like this to be done right. |

chris, when you move back here where you belong, you can take it over to tom bradshaw's house!!
otherwise, there must be someone in your town, you would think. i'd send tom an email and ask him. |

Ha! I may be back there someday but not before this amp needs to be brought up to snuff! (Of course, it may be that long until I can afford to have it done...)
Yeah - lots of great amp techs here locally but I'm hoping to find someone who knows Webbs, in particular, as close to inside out as is possible. |

Hello Chris B, This might be a long shot, but at one time, Obeid Kahn offered to service my Webb amp. He's a super nice gentleman and excellent tech. However, presently, he has designed and is currently building the "Magnatone" amp. Obeid Kahn is a close friend of Brad Sarno and offered to contact Brad for the Webb schematics in order to service as well as perform the "mods" on my amp. I have Obeid Kahn's personal email address somewhere......if I can find it. You might contact Brad for more info. _________________ GFI w/Steeltronics 507, Profex II, Nashville 112’s, Hilton, George L .155’s, BJS, Steelers Choice |

I'm a fan (from afar) of his work, Jerry. Great idea. Thanks! |
