How many steel players are using the DUNLOP Volume pedal?

I bought a new Dunlop pedal 7 or 8 months ago and I do not like it at all. It is not even comparable with my Goodrich 120.

Dunlop makes good stuff in general and in all probability this is an excellent tool for guitarists or keyboard players.
But we have special needs. We need volume pedals designed to be used with a steel.

Junior Brown uses a Dunlop volume pedal with the guitsteel. I use Dunlop picks now and when I started playing steel, I used a Dunlop bar. I'm using a different bar now, though

I always use a Dunlop pedal, but mine was re-worked to accept a 500K ohm pot. Also, had the in & out jacks moved to the side of the pedal instead of on the front. A local repair guy (Tommy Lepson)did an exelent job on this for me. I'll probably never use anything else. Tommy.......

I have a Dunlop GCB-80. The jacks are on the sides. It's built like a tank. I haven't tried too many other pedals, but so far I haven't seen anything that comes remotely close to this one. YMMV.
OT: I use Dunlop thumb-picks (plastic & metal), but I won't go near their finger-picks. Once again, YMMV.

I use one of these, which seems bullet-proof and has so far been reliable. But I'm not crazy about the taper. Too fast at the low end for me.
