Hey anyone out there know of any Jams in Wichita Kansas where a guy could take a steel and sit in with the band?
I know Sammy Bidwell has a killer band but I don't know if he has a Jam!
Going to Wichita to visit my family over Thanksgiving and I want to take my New Carter S-10 and play some.I played there 4 nights a week 20 years ago but moved to Dallas and only had time to visit family since then. I have some spare time now and would like to play some there.

Come on Kansas Guys and Gals there must be someplace a steeler can go sit in in the Wichita, Derby, VC, Ark City, Newton, areas

Actually I think they have a jam at SAm's on Sunday nights. I worked for Sam for about four years and have played with all the guys that are working there. Sam's newest club is on West Kellogg. Tell Al Reyolds and Ken Potter I said Howdy.
