(Guitar and neck sanded to 150 grit)

$325.00 plus shipping
Please email if interested. More are available

Resonator hardware
Where/how does one get the hardware to finish the guitar, and how much does that cost?

It uses a standard spider (with the 2 piece insert). I pre-set the scale length/correct resonator opening placement and also drill the 4 fretboard screws that go into the body as well as make the nut slot, so the fretboard placement is all set without having to adjust or figure out.Bryan Bradfield wrote:Is the dimensioning intended for use with an offset spider bridge, or does one simply adjust fingerboard placement for use of an offset spider?

No idea if these are still available, contact Jim Adams. He builds quality guitars and the kits are pretty nice. Comes with a 6 string neck - if these are still available perhaps he can sub an 8 string neck.

Beard used to offer a kit but I checked their Resophonic Outfitters site and the kit page is blank. I think they’re so busy building new guitars that the “side gigs” like guitar kits and guitar setups have been discontinued.

James,
I’m relatively sure I read a post stating that Greg stopped building(maybe to care for his father??). If you contact Jim Adams you should be very happy.
Good luck,
MB
