Post by Jim Case »

My psg was stolen a couple years ago (Derby teal green D-10, s.n. #308) and I don't see myself having $ for a new one any time soon, so I'm selling off all my psg instruction.

Jeff Newman
"Up From The Top" Complete Series, 5 dvds plus books $120
P.S.G. Illustrated $25
Bandstand backup Pt 1 & 2 $75
The Right Hand Alpha $20
Give Me An Intro $35
Pedal Steel Guitar Techniques $40
Just Play The Melody $35

VHS
Steel Summit With The Masters 2 tapes $15
Bruce Bouton "Learn To Play P.S.G." $10
Tim McCasland "P.S.G. Beginner's Series" $10
Doug Jernigan "E9th For Beginners" with book $10
Steve Palousek "E9th Beginners" $15

Books
Joe Wright "My Approach To P.S.G." 322 pgs. $20
DeWitt Scott "Back-Up P.S.G." with cd, $10
Jeff Newmann "Just Jammin" 106 pgs. + 2 cds $40
Buddy Emmons "Intros & Turnarounds" w/cd $10
Neil Flanz "E9th PSG Instruction Book" w/cd $10

Please add $5 shipping for 1-2 items & $10 shipping for 3 or more items. Prices above are generally 50% or more off current seller's price. Prices also reflect me giving a 20% donation to the original publisher.

Sure would like to see a new area for stolen equipment on this forum. Lots of good deals on instruction material here that you should be keeping and playing steel. At least I know to look out for a teal Derby D10. Some people are a real pile of garbage! I feel for you Jim

Somebody just PM me saying I have mental issues for going after Jim on his stolen steel. What? I'm saying I feel sorry for Jim and the thief is a pile of garbage. Anyway, I hardly ever post on this forum for reasons like this. I'll go back under my rock and continue to mind my own business. I do think its sad that someone would steal this mans steel.

Kurt - Don't pay any attn. to who pm d you.
I think it is very decent for you to feel for Jim and I do too. I hate that people steel our stuff and I cannot understand anyone ridiculing you about it. Don't get off the forum because of this. Whoever Pm ed you should get off.

This is not the place for this discussion. Take it to Forum Feedback please, Kurt.

Jim, you should post about your stolen steel at stolen.steelguitarforum.com

Thanks for all the kind words concerning the loss of my steel. My only consolation is, like most of you, I also play several other instruments. I still have my Martin, Goldtone dobro, a mandolin, and a couple banjos.

I'll be filling these requests in the order they were received.

Tom, thanks for your payment- I'll be sending out your DVDs & books tomorrow.

BTW, I live in Ft. Worth now, so if any of you in that area are interested, you are welcome to pick up your items in person.
