hello forum-ites
i've recently got myself a vintage tricone squareneck with no case though. i'm in australia, and was wondering if you people had any thoughts on the best case for it that would be able to fly. id obviously prefer a national case, but they seem to be very difficult and expensive to get here. any thoughts?

I believe (although I'm not sure) that just about any case made for a resonator guitar will work with your tricone. If it's a vintage guitar, you might have to modify it a bit to get the neck to fit properly.
Have you checked with Acoustic Centre in Melbourne? I don't have any specific leads on a National tricone case, but they might have some recommendations.
You should also contact National Reso-Phonic in the USA and see what they'd recommend. Good luck on your search!
