I just changed the pickups on my Emmons P/P from Bill Lawrence pickups to the original Emmon pickups. I can't seem to set the Amp up to get the mix that I want, Can some of the steel pickers that use an Emmons 1000 Amp help me, Thanks, Shorty

It would depend on what sound you want. Not everyone wants or hears the same sound.

My general setting that I've used for years on Peavey amps with the Parametric Mid has been the same, whether an Emmons PP with stock pickups or my Franklin with Lawrence 705's (originally) and now with Lawrence 710's.

My basic setting is Low +9, Mid -2 to -3, Frequency 800Hz, High and Presence on +1 (with new strings).

I've used this same basic setting on a Session 500, Nashville 400 (with factory tone mod), Nashville 1000 and Nashville 112. Also with both pot volume pedals and a Hilton volume pedal.
