Yes,that was my last lounge gig. I promised several people i would be there. Some came from kinda far off. Sorry for the shock.
I want to go back to strickly gospel like i did for years. No more smoking and drinking venues for me. I might play a resturant gig or a little opry type show or something similar but thats it. Not working right now at anything and getting hungry, LOL
Thanks for being observant.

Gary Preston, are you saying that if anyone plays in a bar or where there is wine, women and song that they are going to hell regardless of whether they partake in them or not? The temptations of evil are now what puts us in the eternal fire pit of damnation? Maybe you can't resist but I have faith in Gary that he can withstand and overcome the temptations. Wait a minute, didn't Jesus ask us to have faith in him and also in mankind? Get a clue. No one's going to hell for playing music in a bar any more than they would by playing music in a dinner club or even church. Last time I checked it wasn't a sin to make music. |

Well let's see what would be the best for all. Jimmie and Gary Preston, why don't you two sell your steels and all your musical equipment, purge your computers of this vial spewing place and just spend more time reading the Bible, going to church and supporting your minister. Know what I'm going to do? I am going to go to church every Sunday, read my Bible, pray to my God every day, support my church financially and play in every &)%%!$# bar and beer joint that hasn't converted to karaoke. Any questions? |
