Well I guess my hearing is finally gone I now have an implant in my left ear and a aid in my right. I can hear to play and still gigging but now everything takes on a tinny sound and I am trying to set my amp. But I admit its hard to hear that sweet sound now. Anyone have any ideas. _________________ MSA CLassic SD-10

If they are programmable, you can have a program entered with an eq curve for listening to music. That and a lowered volume will help a lot!
If you have directional options, use the option that allows sound from the front only as opposed to omnidirectional or a program that favors left or right.
If you have a wireless remote, you can typically store 3-5 programs in the remote. Also, lower the volume down as low as possible, it will help the sizzling high end problem.
Explain your needs to your provider. They should be able to help you. _________________ Always remember you're unique..... Just like everyone else |

When I first got mine, went straight home to try playing with them. When I hit that first cord it sounded like 5 auto-harps at one time!! I went back to the dealer and he called the company and they had him change the phaser,( what ever that is ) and it helped a lot, I've been using just one, so I can get some natural sound from my other ear, but I still prefer no aids when playing. |

I have used hearing aids for over 10 years with no problems. It does take a lot of effort to get them adjusted though. |

I am just getting my other ear one. I have them program it for music. I had that problem too, everything sounded tinny, so I would play without it. Tomorrow I am getting the the other one and hope they set it up for the music, on channel 2. For what you pay for them, you can buy a new fancy steel. Maybe I should have done that. Good luck, and I need the luck too. Ronnie _________________ Sho-Bud LDG, Martin D28, Ome trilogy 5 string banjo, Ibanez 4-string bass, dobro, fiddle, and a tubal cain. Life Member of AFM local 142 |
