Here's a quick video/demo I recorded today using Michael James' new C Diatonic 6-string tuning. C,E,G,B,D,F (low to high). It's a short melody I came up with after about 1/2 hour of experimenting with the tuning and learning where the chords are.

I tuned down 1/2 step (B) so I wouldn't break any strings. Please excuse the slightly distorted audio. It's just a quick recording. Cheers...

Nice video. I'd been following the discussion in the other thread, but not really advanced enough to comment. I can say you really showed it can have a nice vibe.
How did you find it as far as ease when it comes to grips?

Thanks Dale, the string grips are very easy on this tuning. You can play major and minor chords without skipping strings. It's three adjacent strings for many of the chords. For me, C6 is still king, but it's nice to have another good all-round tuning for certain songs.

That last major7 chord you played almost made cry it was so beautiful.

I also like calling the tuning "C Diatonic". Since I dove into the 8 string a bit the name really makes sense now. When I teach music theory I call the chords built on the major scale "Diatonic Chords". On the 8 string you get all seven chords in the key of C with just open strings. You also get 12 forward and back slant chords that all pedal bend to common I, IV, V chords.
