This guitar is for sale at guitar center vintage for 949.99.
Look's like it need's a little love and care. I don't think I've see a 10 string before, rare?. Anyway nice to look at.

1948 - early 1950s
Only 90 units shipped total, so yeah, it's rare.
This is only the third one I've seen after my friend Alan's (super clean but it too needed some tuner buttons) and Chas Smith's.

I know it sounds far-fetched, but about three or so years ago I bought two of these on eBay within six months of each other. They both suffered from the pickups "warping" enough that the end strings would come into contact with the poles when pushed down on "too" much. I had both pickups redone. Eventually I sold them when I finally found a Fry Pan. They sounded good. My research showed what Peter said - 90 made. In comparison with Gibson's EH guitars, they weren't nearly as nice or made as well, which is why it wasn't hard to let them go. By the way, they didn't sell for as much as what you'd think when I put them up - maybe $500, if I remember correctly.
