Yeah, He do. I've been a fan of his playing for many years.

I recall an article in the old Steel Guitar World magazine. I don't know if his set-up is in there or would even still be the same, but I'll be happy to thumb through it when I have some time.

FWIW, I found the magazine with the interview, but it's 1999. In that article, he doesn't post his copedent. I can't say for sure, but I don't think there's anything special about it. What he states is that he was using Sho-Buds. Pro II, Super Pro and LDG. I think Show Pro is in use a lot now.

He lists a wound 6th string in use, but doesn't mention whether Day or Emmons set-up. Says he was inspired by Rusty Young when he was playing a Pro II.

He lists a '65 Blackface Twin Reverb with a Black Widow speaker for recording and speaks highly of a '58 Tweed Deluxe. Also lists a white Boss digital delay pedal.

Maybe someone who's close to him can update you. That's all I found. He has a website: www.dandugmore.com but not much mention of steel stuff. He's also a multi-instrumentalist and apparently still busy as can be with sessions.

If you wouldn't mind a recommendation, the 2002 Travis Tritt "Strong Enough" album has a lot of good Tritt stuff with Dan's pedal steel. I know everybody's tastes are different, but I listen to it all the time.
