Gary, I have one and it's everything it's cracked up to be. Silky sustain for days. While many lap steels have great sustain, and a player might not imagine why they'd want more, the sliderig imparts a different feel and response to the onset and envelope of the sustain that's just a joy to play with. I just wish it was in a tiny little box!

The sustain is great, but it still lends that "everything is the same volume" sound that most compressors give. Sacrificing expression and dynamics to get lots of "hang time" isn't really a gain, it's just another sound, and that's fine...as long as you don't get addicted to it. Mr. Green
