The guitar is a D10 from an estate. The seller, although not a steel player, is a nice guy who primarily plays 6-string. Although certainly open to a cash sale, he would prefer a trade deal involving pre-70's vintage Fender or Gibson 6-string gear in original condition. I am prepared to do either option with him and we are currently discussing that. The sale is not final yet.

I believe it is a '68 cut-tail. One pickup has been changed to either a 710 or 810. It's hard to tell from the picture but the back pickup might be a replacement, too. One of the knee levers looks to be a replacement. The linkage is either rusty or nicotine stained or both.

John.

My mistake. You're absolutely right. It's a 605, 705 or 805. It's not a 710.

Also, in a further discussion with the owner, he assured me the second pickup is original. There is no rust but plenty of nicotene stains on the linkage.
