2009 Mullen G2 SD10 Mahogany--Selling all equipment
I have been trying to learn to play the steel guitar for the last 5 years or so. Now I am realizing I am getting older and am probably just not going to learn to play the way I want to. So I have decided to sell all my equipment. I have a mahogany Mullen G2 SD10 with 4 pedals and 5 knees and factory case, a Nashville 112, Peterson Strobo Flip Tuner, Steeler's Choice Steel Seat w/ sidekick and back, Boss DD3 delay unit, two 15/16's bars and one 3/4 bar. also a 15/16's Zirc bar, two sets of Curt Mangan Strings, and some miscellaneous cd's and dvd teaching material. No volume pedal. The copedent for the steel is:
1st pedal lowers 5 from B to A, 6 from G# to F# and 10 from B to A,
2nd pedal takes 5 and 10 B's to C#
3rd pedal takes 3 and 6 G#'s to A
4th pedal takes 4 from E to F# and 5 from B to C#
LKL raises 4 and 8 E's to F
LKR lowers 4 and 8 E's to D#
LKV Lowers 5 and 10 B's to A#
RKL Raises 1 F# to G and lowers 6 from G# to F#
RKR Lowers 2 from D# to D and 9 from D to C#
Everything is in excellent shape to mint. Will sell all the above for $3,850. I am only loading pictures of the steel. Other pictures available on request. I will take Paypal, but fees will have to be added to the price. I will split shipping costs if shipping is necessary
Someone will get a great deal on all of this merchandise. Thanks

For what it's worth.......i was intimidated and never got the psg i had bought used playable for 35 years. Last summer I got it going and rather than mess about with complex E9 tuning etc etc i made up my own open tuning and copedants and am able to play pretty melodically pretty easily. i never thought i would be able to. trying to give you some hope.

Thanks so much Mickey. I love the steel and the music, I think I just waited too late to learn it the way I wanted to. It is a very difficult instrument and difficult to devote enough time to to be decent. Thanks again Mickey and thanks for the instruction you have made available on YouTube. It does help folks.
great deal
I bought a Zum from Dennis a short time ago, it was as advertised. He's a good guy to deal with , and that's a great deal IMHO.
In the 36 yrs that i've been a student of the steel,
the temptation to fold was a thought many times. One time i went 2 months without having a steel. To this day i don't consider myself to be a steel player, but i gotta have one in my house till the day i die.
Just in case the light comes on in my brain and works
its way to my hands and the rest of my body, that'll be my "revolution". But i refuse to lose. Never surrender. God bless you all.

Thanks so much Skip. I know I probably shouldn't sell. I really appreciate the kind words.

I live in Batesville, the Northcentral part of the state, about 65 miles or so from the Missour Border, about 90 miles north of Little Rock and 65 miles west of Jonesboro. I hope that helps.

The steel has a Bill Lawrence 705 on it right now, and I also have a G2 pickup that can be included also. Thanks for all the inquiries.

Hi Dennis,
Isn't there some one that lives close to you who could help you out and give you some pointers? Some one who could help you succeed with your passion to play pedal steel.
Best Regards,
Larry
