Fessenden 8 string 3 pedal standup SOLD !!!!!! Please Close

Post by Walt Miller »

I have a Fessenden 8 string standup pedal steel for sale with modifications (Moved the pedals forward so I could play my tele cut the volume grab a bar and do pedal steel licks)also I added a aluminum angle bar to the front legs and it improved the stability and ability to keep it in tune with plastic pipe tubes to hold a bar ( got tired of dropping it on my foot when I grabbed it off the top . It works great for what it is and saved paying another man ( no offense to steel players) but in this economy you have to cut corners when you can. I paid 675.00 for it from Jerry Fessenden and it has served me well but I am taking the advice of Al Vessel and purchasing a zum stage one . Al had given me a lot of 10 string e9th instructions and I am ready to take the plunge and I have the codependant on another post on the forum Its grey and looks like a six shooter with better legs I will post some pictures when I get time
Thanks

Looks interesting. Are the pedals like A-B-C on an E9?

This a great guitar at a great price.Sounds great, plays well and stays in tune well. And yes, they are the ABC pedals.

Walt, I'm looking forward to getting this guitar set up. Thanks again for working with me on this deal. As we both said, this guitar fits my needs perfectly; seeing if I can retrain my ears back to the pitch I once had. Thanks again...Gary
